By public transport

Bad Schauenburg can be reached by public transport to Liestal. From there we recommend either the wonderful walk to us, the Balmer taxi or our paid shuttle service.

By car

Bad Schauenburg is only 20 minutes by car from Basel. A few steps away from the hotel is the visitor parking lot with ample free parking. The parking lot is, of course, under video surveillance.

FROM BASEL FREEWAY A2/A3 OR FROM ZURICH FREEWAY A3
Freeway exit “Liestal”
Take the A22 direction Liestal.
Exit Liestal-Nord
At the roundabout, take the second exit, drive straight (Schauenburgerstrasse) and follow the signs to Bad Schauenburg (approx. 4 km).

Freeway exit “Sissach” No. 11
Take the A22 direction Liestal.
Exit Liestal-Nord
At the roundabout, take the second exit, drive straight (Schauenburgerstrasse) and follow the signs to Bad Schauenburg (4 km).

Please drive carefully. In the direction of Frenkendorf and Liestal, there are speed limit 30 zones in the residential areas.

By shuttle

Our own shuttle service will be available to and from the train station Liestal. Please order your shuttle at least 24 hours with minimal 4 passengers in advance - we will gladly consider your reservation based on availability.

Costs: CHF 25.- per trip.
